Being born and raised in Northern British Columbia, the natural resource sector felt like an easy fit to put down roots and I found a home in the forest industry starting in 2003.   After graduating from  the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, I obtained my Registered Forest Technologist designation.  My husband and I settled in to raise our family of three kids in the Cariboo Region, where we currently call Quesnel, BC our home.  For the past 10 years I have worked as an independent consultant for an array of clients across most of the natural resource sectors which has found me a home specializing within forestry and mining with a blend of needs for UAV (Drone) services.  These industries have kept pushing me for a high standard in ethics and a strong  stewardship for the land.
